
Lola Le Guan is a Chinese writer and filmmaker based in Dublin. She holds a degree in English Language and Literature and studied Screenwriting at the University of Southern California. With over 15 years of experience working across advertising, film and television productions, she has written successful TV commercials and documentaries. This background gives her a strong understanding of how stories evolve from script to screen.She was recently selected for Screen Ireland-supported programmes, including the EMERGE Producer Programme and the National Talent Academies Film & TV Drama Mentorship Scheme, where she deepened her understanding of the Irish screen landscape and developed original story ideas.Lola is passionate about bringing underrepresented voices and cultural perspectives to the screen. Her work often explores identity and human connections. Drawing on her experience of living between cultures, she is particularly interested in stories about emotionally complex women navigating trauma and self-discovery.
