Lola Le Guan

Lola Le Guan is a Chinese writer and filmmaker based in Dublin. She holds a degree in English Language and Literature and studied Screenwriting at the University of Southern California. Her experience covers 15 years working across advertising, film and television productions, where she has written successful TV commercials and documentaries. This background gives her a strong understanding of how stories evolve from script to screen.She was recently selected for Screen Ireland-supported programmes, including the EMERGE Producer Programme and the National Talent Academies Film & TV Mentorship Scheme, deepening her understanding of the Irish screen landscape and developing original story ideas.Drawing from her experience of living between cultures, she's passionate about bringing underrepresented voices and cultural perspectives to the screen. Her work often explores identity and human connections, especially stories about emotionally complex women navigating trauma and self-discovery.
